No matter HOW it happens
We did some bloodwork a few weeks ago & the results have been slowly trickling in.
Recently my OBGYN called to tell me that I have low AMH levels (Anti-Mullerian Hormone: In short I have Diminished Ovarian Reserve, which means I have less eggs for my age than I “should”)
The call ended with her telling us that we might have to start considering IVF!
I immediately called my Reproductive Endocrinologist (she assured me that she's seen women with lower levels achieve successful pregnancies & now has me taking Coq10 & DHEA to help boost their health.)
We plan on testing my levels after 3 months to see if anything has changed before we really consider IVF.
In the meantime I'm doing everything that I can to optimize my health & boost my egg quality. Even after EVERYTHING, I still believe in my body.
Sometimes things get harder before they get easier but my heart knows THIS is worth the fight!
We're just taking it one day at a time and we will cross each bridge as we get there.
Nothing is certain but one thing is for sure, we're going to give this a good fight & we're going to be grateful to have our baby no matter how it happens.
