I figured we'd deal with family illnesses & the loss of parents...

things like that, but I never thought we'd struggle with starting a family.

The word "hard" doesn't do justice to what we've endured together and challenging, sad, heartbreaking-only scratch the surface.

But instead of focusing on how much it sucks that this is part of our story, I choose to focus on how it's built a bond of inseparable solidarity because we have CHOSEN to use this to make us stronger.

This could have torn us apart, but instead it has tied us closer together.

Couples that go through things that most couples never have to, have a special kind of connection.

It's hard not to have an extra appreciation for someone who has held your hand and walked through it all with you.
