Tumeric Vanilla Chai Latte

I started posting this recipe on my stories on Instagram last week & I got sooooo many questions!

Many of you have never heard of this concoction & I can't say that I'm surprised. I only know of a handful of places that make it.

Since being quarantined I've been in the mood to try different things & get creative in the kitchen.

We usually eat very clean & healthy, but the with everything going on with the health crisis I've been inspired to dive deep into natural/holistic supplements & immunity boosters.

The ingredients for my Tumeric Chai Vanilla Latte are

  • 1/8 of a tsp ground of the following:

  • Clove

  • Garlic

  • Cinnamon

  • Nutmeg

  • Pepper (activities the Tumeric so that your body actually uses more of it)

1 tsp ground of the following:

  • Maca Powder (Black or brown)

  • Tumeric

For the frother:

  • I use about 1/4 cup of almond milk

  • Splash of Vanilla Creamer

  • I either use a Chai Tea Keurig capsule or brew black tea.

Directions:

  1. Place your ingredients in the mug add the coffee or tea

  2. Froth your milk & creamer

(You'll need to combine both because non-dairy might not froth)

This combination of ingredients is packed with nutrients that can be very beneficial to everything from building your immune system, helping with digestion, joint pain & repair, antioxidants, & soo much more.

It tastes absolutely delicious & is such a great way to kick off your nourishment for the day!
